Job Duties:

Work will include, but is not limited to, harvesting and unloading fruits, apples, vegetables. May perform a combination of tasks related to the planting, cultivating, harvesting and processing of all fruits, apples, vegetables, pumpkins in the field and in greenhouses. Work may include, but not limited to driving, operating, maintenance and adjusting of farm machinery, tractors and vehicles, preparing soil, planting, pruning, weeding, thinning, spraying, irrigating, mowing, harvesting, grading and packing. May use hand tools, such as shovel, pruning pole, pruning saw, and other farm implements. This work requires the ability to lift 50 lbs of apples and/or other products while climbing 20 ft. ladder. Workers should be careful not to damage or bruise fruit while harvesting and/or loading or unloading into picking buckets. May also help set up, operate and maintain cider press. Drivers license is helpful, but not required. The work is usually performed out of doors, sometimes in extreme conditions of heat, cold and/or rain. Cell phone use is not allowed during work hours unless in an emergency situation. 1 month experience required in work listed.
