Job Duties:

Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Operate towed machines, such as seed drills and manure spreaders, to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest, and store grain crops. Till the soil, plant, and cultivate grain. Farming with: Beans, Corn

Special Requirements:

A minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires a drug screen post-hire at the employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires a criminal background check post-hire at the employer's expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass a drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive, verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English.
