- Job Duties:
- The employer is seeking reliable, responsible, hardworking individuals to maintain and repair agricultural equipment and farm vehicles. The Farm Equipment Mechanic will perform diesel and gasoline mechanics in order to maintain, diagnose, repair, modify and keep records of agricultural equipment such as tractors, field trucks, medium flatbed trucks, and small farm vehicles, and vehicles used to transport farm workers and general operations. Repairs will be carried out either under covered buildings located on the farm, in the fields, or at other times in the middle of the fields where the equipment happens to fail or require repair. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying outdoor extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping and lifting may be involved on a regular basis. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense.
