Job Duties:

We need a seasonal employee to assist with our corn, wheat, sorghum, rye, soybean, cotton, and peanut production season. The employee will be required to perform all assigned duties related to planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting these crops. Duties include preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting activities; fertilizing and spraying crops, including applying fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus, weeds, and diseases; irrigating soil using portable pipes or ditch systems and maintaining ditches, pipes, pumps, and pivot irrigation systems; loading and unloading crops or materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, or hand trucks; loading hoppers, containers, or conveyors using forklifts, augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks; manipulating controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; observing and listening to machinery during operation to detect malfunctions; driving farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools; inspecting, adjusting, and completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment; and recording agricultural data as required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee. In accordance with the employers workplace safety policy and company hiring practices, individuals with felony or theft-related criminal convictions may not be employed, as permitted by law. Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, prolonged sitting, walking, bending, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Employees must possess a valid regular drivers license and have a minimum of 3 months of verifiable experience performing the job duties listed in the job order
