Job Duties:

Work will involve seeding, transplanting, and cultivating all greenhouse crops, including assisting with the fertility and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program. Additional duties include weeding, inspecting, grading, sorting, storing, and performing pre- and post-harvest treatment of greenhouse crops. Workers will also build potting soil mixes, maintain drip irrigation systems, and operate small tractors and implements for cultivation. Work will include general greenhouse maintenance and cleanup. The job requires lifting 5 to 75 pounds to move transplant trays, pour fertilizer, and move produce containers and bins. At least two (2) months of experience in greenhouse vegetable and fruit production is required.
