Job Duties:

Crops: Apples, Flowers • Harvest apples from both ladder and ground. Hand-thin apple trees. Grade, sort and pack apples. Rake out apples from under trees. Perform summer apple tree pruning and trellis training. • Harvest flowers. Cut blooms in flower field. Weed flower field. • Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, knives, and wheelbarrows. Duties may include transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops; or cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested products. May construct trellises or participate in irrigation activities. • Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Utilize weed trimmer to cut grass and keep fencing clear of vines and branches.
