Job Duties:

We operate a large corn and soybean row crop farm. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employees may assist with all aspects of farming including but not limited to farm tillage, , fertilizing, operating a combine, and running auger wagons. Employees may use a farm truck in all of these processes including but not limited to hauling: Grain from the fields to local elevators or bin sites, loading and unloading grain. Fertilizer, chicken litter, manure and other nutrients to fields associated with the operation. Employees may be asked to assist in rock picking, clearing of fence lines, and building removal or modification. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Special Requirements:

Smoking or vaping are not allowed on the work premises, vehicles or housing. Job requires extensive walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, and frequent stooping. Must be able to lift 100 lb equipment. Job requires a US drivers license and a driving record must be approved by the insurance company within 30 days of hire as required to be insured by our insurance company. Require verifiable experience with past employer reference to document this experience. Require months experience.
