Job Duties:

All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described in this job description and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in this order. This work order is for people to perform the duties of general field work and harvesting of pumpkins and gourds. Workers must be willing to work in varied weather conditions. The work requires long hours of standing, bending, and walking. The workers will be picking up pumpkins and placing them on a conveyor belt and/or removing them from a conveyor belt and placing them in a truck or bin, therefore the worker must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. The harvest lasts five to six weeks and workers will not be required to work more than the number of hours specified in the job order for a workday, or on the worker's Sabbath or Federal holidays. Employer will furnish to workers at no cost all tools and equipment required to perform duties assigned. Worker must be able to take directions in simple English.
