Job Duties:

FARM LABORER: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: prepare soil and fields for planting; plant, cultivate, maintain, harvest, grade, sort, pack, load, unload, and transport agricultural commodities; perform field and crop maintenance activities, including mowing, weed control, applying fertilizers, and other crop production practices; assist with irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair; operate and assist with harvesting, handling, storage, and shipping activities; load and unload agricultural products, equipment, and supplies; perform general farm maintenance and clean up, including removing debris, rocks, and trash from fields and farm property, pulling weeds by hand, and cutting grass; perform routine maintenance and cleaning of farm buildings, equipment, and work areas; drive and operate tractors, skid-steers, forklifts, and other farm vehicles or equipment as directed on farm property only. Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent under Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification: Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse Workers (45-2092)

Special Requirements:

Experience Requirement: 2 month(s) verifiable experience in commercial agriculture experience hand harvesting vegetables required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 3 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Job requires worker to complete tasks in Potatoes and Cash Crops Corn, Soybeans, Green Beans, Peas, Wheat. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Season Commitment: Job offered requires worker be available for work for entire employment period. Drug testing done at employer's expense and not utilized as preemployment tool.
