Job Duties:
The General Farm Laborer will perform agricultural services including field preparation, removing rocks and volunteer corn, rogueing, hoeing weeds from seed corn production fields, bagging, seed conditioning, harvesting, husking, sorting and drying seed, weeding, sweeping, cleaning, organizing of work area and harvest bins, some light mechanical/repair buildings, tractor, farm related equipment operating, general harvest duties related to corn production. Workers must possess the physical strength and endurance for repetitive tasks such as being able to walk, bend, stoop, and carry 70-90lbs. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, ability to get along with other workers. Knowing how to use the tools and equipment required. Clean workplace and equipment as required. Daily schedule is from Monday to Saturday from 7:00am to 1:30pm, 30 minutes lunch included.

The worker will work specified hours per day depending upon fields conditions, all kinds of weather, and crops maturity. To meet the guarantee, the worker wont be required to work specified for a workday, or on the sabbath or federal holidays. Must be responsible and consistent on the job. Must be able to lift 70-90lbs, do repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, walking, frequent stooping throughout the day. Workers with the correct licensing and training will be driving workers from and to work. They will be team leaders in the crew to help train and help workers get quality work done in the field. They will help make sure workers get accurate record keeping for office payroll.
