Job Duties:
Perform duties on a farm for a farm such as: Drive and operate harvesting machines or custom cutting machinery to harvest a variety of grain and oil-seed crops from clients’ farms. Adjust speeds of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drive heavy trucks to transport produce to elevator or storage areas. Drive transporter trucks to haul harvesting machine between work sites. Service machinery and make incidental in-field repairs. General service to equipment like regular oil checks, and making sure equipment is safe to operate. Farming with: Grain

Special Requirements:
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Workers may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing at no cost to the employee, with failure to comply or a positive test result leading to termination. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English.
