Job Duties:

Job duties include the operation of various farm equipment to prepare the land, plant, spray, and harvest crops. Equipment that employees will operate includes but is not limited to tractors with various implements attached, planters, GPS equipment, combines, 10 wheeler trucks, sunflower/landoll disks and VT, sprayers, trucks, narrow row planters, front end loaders, trackhoe, grain trucks, and mowers. Duties will also include removing trees and ditching; working with irrigation equipment such as pivots and furrows; working with cattle as needed; repairing and working with property barriers when needed; performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment, building, and grain bins; overhauling equipment; cleaning equipment; performing shop work and mowing around shops and the farm headquarters. Manual duties include loading planters, loading feed, loading chemicals, operating equipment, property border work, repairs as needed, cleaning as needed, moving grain augers, changing equipment tires if needed, and feeding cattle when needed. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.

Special Requirements:

Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy skills are required. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, bending, or repetitive movements when loading items, sitting in equipment, performing repairs, etc. Random criminal background checks may occur post-hire at the employers expense. These checks may be performed to ensure a safe housing and work environment for all workers.
