Job Duties:

The workers will perform field tasks including preparing planting areas, clearing debris, raking and smoothing soil, planting and transplanting blueberry plants by hand, placing plants in holes, backfilling and tamping soil, watering newly planted bushes, and carrying out hand weeding, hoeing, thinning, pruning, and removing dead plant material. Workers also assist with row crop production by preparing and maintaining long planting rows, hand weeding between rows, hoeing and cultivating soil to promote healthy growth, removing dead or damaged plants, and supporting seasonal planting, transplanting, and field cleanup activities across row crop sections of the farm.
