Job Duties:

We need a seasonal employee to assist with our cattle/cow/calf production season. Employee will need to assist with all job duties assigned related to this commodity.We are seeking employees to support livestock operations, including feeding and watering animals; monitoring and maintaining food and water supplies; and mixing and distributing feed, supplements, and medications in prescribed portions using trucks, tractors, and feeder wagon equipment. Responsibilities include observing livestock to detect illness, injury, or abnormal conditions; administering vaccinations and treatments or coordinating veterinary care; and assisting with breeding, artificial insemination, calving, and care of newborn animals. Employees will herd and move livestock between pastures and facilities using vehicles or on foot, as well as operate equipment for feeding and bedding cattle. Additional duties include grinding feed; branding and tagging animals; cleaning and maintaining pens, stalls, and equipment; ensuring proper water and sanitary conditions; and inspecting, maintaining, and repairing machinery, fences, corrals, buildings, and other farm infrastructure. Candidates must have experience working with cattle and operating equipment with computerized monitoring systems.
