Job Duties:

The employer is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with the tomato and satsuma mandarin citrus harvest season. Duties include harvesting and packing. Packing activities entail grading, packing, box making, cleaning, sanitation, stacking, operating hand jack and equipment, dumping, strapping, repacking, stickering, trimming and cutting with knives and scissors. Other job duties include farm clean-up, such as pulling and picking up plastic and may include other general farm labor. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying extreme outdoor weather conditions such as heat, humidity, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen, soil, mud, dust and other natural elements. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis.
