Job Duties:

Workers will perform agricultural labor on an organic farm growing peanuts and a variety of organic crops. Workers will dig peanuts, shake and windrow peanut plants, allow peanuts to dry and cure, gather cured peanuts, clean peanuts, remove soil and foreign material, and grade, sort, or classify peanuts and other agricultural products by size, weight, color, moisture, quality, condition, defects, and purchaser requirements. Workers will prepare product for storage, shipment, or sale. Workers will gather manure from livestock facilities, load, haul, dump, and spread manure on fields as fertilizer to prepare fields for spring tillage and organic crop production.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
