Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Operate stationary equipment such as module feeder to perform post-harvest tasks such as ginning; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as ginning; Load and unload cotton in the field onto truck with trailer without over or under filling and haul crops to or from storage; Operate module movers to pick bales up in the field and bring to the yard, move and organize bales on the yard to be processed. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Adjust, repair, and service machinery and notify supervisors of malfunctions; Daily upkeep and cleaning of equipment while ginning; While a CDL is not required as part of this job, workers who do possess a CDL may operate CDL equipment. During times of peak need and depending on weather or crop conditions, hours requested may increase per day; work at night may be requested; Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath.

- Special Requirements:
- Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
