Job Duties:

Workers will perform manual field labor associated with the production and harvest of kale, collards, and cabbage. Duties include, but are not limited to, cutting mature crops by hand using knives or other approved harvesting tools; trimming, sorting, bunching or packing product in the field as required; placing harvested product into bins, boxes, or other designated containers; removing damaged or unmarketable product; and maintaining product quality during harvest. Workers may assist with field sanitation, cleanup of harvest areas, removal of crop debris, loading harvested product for transport from the field, and other hand labor activities directly related to the production and harvest of kale, collards, and cabbage. Workers will use care to avoid damage to crops, equipment, and containers and must follow all food safety, worker safety, and quality requirements established by the employer.
