Job Duties:

Attend to live farm, ranch animals including cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Closely monitor animal condition in cold, wet, icy weather; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Inspect, maintain, prepare, and repair livestock facilities such as feeding/watering equipment; Provide mineral to cattle; Break ice in watering facilities; Relocate cattle.

Special Requirements:

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 75 lbs.
