Job Duties:

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding hay and supplements, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Assist with calving and weaning; Inspect, maintain, and repair livestock facilities and equipment; Drive equipment to distribute feed to animals; Move dirt to level and improve drainage; Break ice in watering facilities; Sort cattle; Drive trucks, tractors, skid steers and other equipment to distribute feed to animals. Must speak English.

Special Requirements:

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
