Job Duties:
Workers will operate, drive, and maintain farm machinery, tractors and harvesting equipment to plant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest, and store rice and grain crops. Workers will attach farm implements (including plows, discs, sprayers, and drills) to tractors to till soil and plant crops. Field and farm vehicles will be driven to transport crops across fields, rice bins, and elevators. Workers will manage grain bin facilities, which includes leveling rice bins, loading and unloading transport trucks, and performing pre-harvest maintenance. Bin inspections require checking both interiors and exteriors to ensure doors seal properly with no visible gaps. Workers will clean trucks, pits, and rice carts using brooms, blowers, shovels, and vacuums. Duties also include setting up, operating, and maintaining agricultural irrigation equipment. Workers must perform routine equipment inspections and minor mechanical repairs. This includes checking for track divots, cracked belts, abnormal engine sounds, and clearing debris or birds' nests. Structural safety checks are required, including inspecting ladder rungs for damage, tightening loose bolts, and clearing all obstructions from climbing pathways.

Must be 18 years old or older per liability insurance requirements. It is recommended that you have experience with Agricultural Equipment and knowledge of Agricultural Field work due to safety reasons related to possible equipment injury, heat stroke possibility, and food safety. A valid drivers' license is required if driving a farm vehicle. Employer may conduct background check on all new applicants for employment at employers expense. All tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to workers. Workers should come prepared wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the environmental and working conditions described. Cell phone can only be used during breaks, emergencies, and communicated with supervisor when needed. Will work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Job involves extreme and repetitive movements such as: walking, sitting, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Lifting/Carrying requirement may have a range of 75 -100 lbs.
