Job Duties:

We are a row crop grain farm raising mainly corn and soybeans. tasks would be trucking grain from field to elevator, occasionally operating tractors, and other related farm equipment, as well as maintaining these pieces of equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; operate self propelled machinery; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities; bailers and other hay equipment; combines or other harvesting equipment; grain carts; forklift; mowers and other landscaping equipment; pickups, cars, etc; self-propelled machinery; semi trucks; skid steers; sprayers; spreaders; swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment; tillage equipment and tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, hay, soybeans. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
