- Job Duties:
- The workers will hand harvest broccoli by walking assigned field rows and identifying broccoli heads that have reached the proper size and maturity for harvest; cut broccoli heads from plants using a harvest knife and trim excess leaves and plant material according to grower specifications; place harvested broccoli into field totes, boxes, or other designated containers, and carry, stack, and arrange filled containers in the field for pickup and transport.

- Special Requirements:
- Ability to visually identify harvest-ready heads by size and color is preferred but is not a condition of hire. Post-employment drug test is paid for by employer when applicable for safety purposes. Must be able to lift and carry 3050 lbs regularly (full field totes/boxes); continuous bending, stooping, and cutting motion for the entire shift; use of a hand harvest knife (cut-resistant PPE required).
