- Job Duties:
- Harvest blueberries (hand and machine), harvest strawberries, zucchini, persimmons, grapes, misc. squash, sweet corn, peas, beans and a diverse group of additional vegetable crops. Perform simple maintenance of farm equipment. Hand and machine pick produce on the farm.. Tend to winter hardy crops. Do in-field packing and pack in the on-farm packing house. Plant, weed and clean up as needed. Drive trucks and machinery on-farm. Maintain fields such as water systems, scouting for disease and inset or other problems, weeding. Deliver produce in pickup trucks from time-to-time (class D license). Operate a forklift from time to time.
