- Job Duties:
- Workers will perform a variety of livestock care duties including feeding, watering, herding, grazing, and monitoring animals to ensure health and productivity. Duties include assisting with breeding and birthing, castrating, branding, vaccinating, and medicating livestock as directed. Workers will clean, repair, and maintain barns, pens, pastures, fences, and water systems; harvest, store, and distribute feed, hay, and supplements; and lay out salt/mineral blocks. Additional duties include catching, weighing, loading, and transporting animals as required, as well as operating tractors, ATVs, and other equipment related to livestock care. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and may require long hours, including weekends and holidays.
