- Job Duties:
- General farm worker needed for crawfish and rice. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Field prep, water maintenance, harvesting of rice crop. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; opérate Crawfish boat; frequent stooping and lifting traps, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. All tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
