Job Duties:

This position performs both housekeeping and housekeeping supervisory functions. 80% of time: Clean and dust hotel rooms according to job procedures; empty wastebaskets; complete assignments and maintain rooms and hallways in clean and orderly manner; make beds; fold laundry; restock closets and carts; assist guests with questions, requests, problems or comments as needed; and other related housekeeping duties. 20% of time: inspect rooms for cleanliness and release rooms for rent. Job will require bending, stooping and stretching. Position will supervise the work of approximately 11 employees. Maximum weight lifted on a regular basis is 8-25 pounds and 25-50 pounds on an occasional basis. 12 months exp. as Housekeeper/Room Inspector or Supervisor required. Basic work schedule of 40 hrs/week (5 rotating days). Any overtime would be unplanned and minimal.
