Job Duties:

The Lead Entertainment Host will be responsible for assisting the overall organization by creating a fun and entertaining environment for McDonald's customers dining-in-store, support grand opening plans and support the operations supervisors with hospitality training. Support local store marketing activities. Host and provide entertaining environment for birthday parties in McDonald's Play Places. Host and provide entertainment during fundraisers for churches, schools and youth sports teams. Work with other non-profit organizations. Visit local schools to talk with teachers and students, hand out coupons, promote fundraisers. Assumes role as store brand ambassador. Socialize with guests eating in the store to promote customer retention and customer loyalty and add entertainment to their dining experience. Maintain friendly, interactive dining environment and ensure positive guest experience. Set up Ronald McDonald shows for all freestanding stores for the year with our Ronald program administrator. Communicate with schools, little leagues, and churches in our trading area to schedule fundraisers. Supports grand opening marketing activities for all new stores. Work with advertising agency to create coupons and flyers and other promotional materials to help build sales. Work with stores' personnel to improve kid's night activities. Provide entertainment to go with discounted happy meals. Consult franchiser web site for current marketing and entertainment ideas. Create entertainment plans for restaurants with play places. Provide entertainment for kids with balloon twisting, magic shows, games, etc. Responsible for developing entertainment hosts for the organization.Assist with hospitality training for our service crew in all restaurants. Participate in training sessions and performance reviews as required.

Special Requirements:

English fluency. Travel to McDonald's restaurants in Maryland (Howard County and Anne Arundel County) weekly to perform the duties of the position. Visit a total of 3 McDonald's restaurants. Visits to 1-2 restaurants per day, 4-5 days per week.
