Job Duties:
The seasonal workers help with clearing land of cedar, stumps, prickly pear cactus, thick brush, and surface rocks in the pasture. Mow and maintain all grass, planters, and flower beds. Till, plant, and maintain a large garden. The workers will help till the garden and prep the bed and get seeds planted. Once campers arrive the garden is used to teach about gardening and growing fruits and vegetables. The workers help keep the garden weed free and most importantly make sure it is kept properly watered. Historically we grow jalapenos, tomatoes, squash, corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, zucchini, and green beans. Help with landscaping. Care for and feeding of 40 horses. Feeding and caring for sheep, goats, chickens, and birds. Cleaning all stables, pens, stalls, and cages.

WE WILL PAY THE MOST RECENT PREVAILING WAGE THAT IS OR WILL BE ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT. P-400-18303-781964 The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.Workers will be paid every other Friday (every two weeks) by check.The employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law.Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa,visa processing,border crossing and other related fees,including those mandated by the government(except passport fees). If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier,the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work,except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment.The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.09 p/day during travel to a maximum of $ 51.00 p/day with receipts.
