Job Duties:

Weld structural steel in flat, vertical, or overhead positions for welding process pipe applications. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, flange lip up pins, wrap arounds, center finders, and rulers. Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configuration and positions for welding. Workers will work one of two shifts: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 3:30 pm to 12:00 am with 1/2 hour lunch break on varying days of the week from Monday through Sunday based on client need.

Special Requirements:

MUST PASS PRE-HIRE DRUG TEST AND MEDICAL PHYSICAL. MUST PASS WRITTEN AND FUNCTIONAL WELDING TEST. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AND/OR MOVE A MINIMUM OF 50 LBS. MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO CLIMB AND WORK IN HIGH PLACES THAT MAY EXCEED 200 FEET IN HEIGHT, AND IN CONFINED SPACES. THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE CARRIED OUT EQUALLY BETWEEN U.S. AND H-2B WORKERS.
