Job Duties:

Keep building in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need of repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk, delivering or carrying dirty linens to and from guest rooms to designated Housekeeping areas and assisting with deliveries on guest request items. The work schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. is a representation of the daily schedule that this position is in service. The shifts worked inside this daily schedule are split. The AM House Attendant begins the work day at 7:00 a.m. and works until 3:00 p.m. The PM House Attendant begins the work day at 3:00 p.m. and works until 11:00 p.m. The indication of 35 hours per week is the minimum number of hours a single employee for this position will work. In instances that any worker exceeds 40 hours in a Monday-Sunday work week, he or she will be paid at the overtime rate.
