Job Duties:

The position of Service Helper is of vital importance to Aquasafe's economic vitality. During the late winter and spring months, these workers assist Service Technicians in preparing recreational facilities for inspection by the Health Department prior to opening for the summer. They use chemicals and equipment to clean pools, furniture, and decks, and otherwise prepare the grounds and facilities in contracted properties. Workers also examine areas for any damage to facilities or equipment, correct settings and conduct maintenance repairs to plumbing, equipment, decks and filter systems. Once the facilities have been cleaned and are in working order, the worker is assigned to recreational facilities where he or she will continue to clean, check and fix minor damage or irregularities above and below water and conduct maintenance repairs to plumbing, equipment, decks and filter systems during the summer months. Upon closing on or around Labor Day, the worker will then assist the service department in winterizing the facilities. Workers must demonstrate ability to swim and to stay under water for short periods to help in any repair or cleaning work. Must have the ability to lift over 50 pounds. No experience required. Job is from 03/01/2021 to 10/15/2021. 40 hours per week. Mon-Fri 8am-3pm, Sat 8am-1pm. Hours and Days might vary. Wage is no less than $18.37 per hour. Overtime not available. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure with the company. Locations: Warren, NJ, Hunterdon, NJ; Mercer, NJ; Monmouth, NJ, Middlesex, NJ; Somerset, NJ, Union NJ, Essex, NJ, Morris, NJ counties. Daily return transportation to work site is provided from Aquasafes local office. Incidental transportation between job sites is provided by the employer.
