Job Duties:
Feed, water, groom, bathe, exercise, and care for carriage horses (nonfarm animals). May keep records of feedings and treatments of animals. May clean, disinfect, and repair stalls or pens. May perform other job duties pursuant to 39-2021, Nonfarm Animal Caretakers. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35-50 hours/week, 0-20 OT hours/week; 7+ hour shifts; 5-6 days/week (Sun-Sat, schedule varies and includes evenings and weekends; business is open 7 days/week); Two shifts: 6:00 am to 7:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. Schedule varies. F.b.9a: Position is exempt from overtime pay. Workers will be paid no less than $11.56 per hour. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary.
