Job Duties:

Assemble, build, and/or erect structures from a variety of metal and non-metal pipe and pipe fittings, handling various tools & equipment while working with other industrial construction crafts in the construction of a petrochemical plant. Read & comprehend piping isometric drawings. Read piping & instrument diagrams. Plans installations, inspects work sites, and selects type and size of piping/related equipment prior to initiating work activity. Perform weld joint preparation to meet project codes & standards. Mounts materials (e.g., piping, hangers, brackets) using powered and non-powered tools and equipment. Loads/unloads and transports materials, tools, equipment, and supplies related to and necessary for the job duties described above. Apply basic rigging skills and use small power tools. Employer will require 48-56 hours of work per week. Mon.- Thurs 4 shifts: 6 am-4:30 pm or 7 am- 5:30 pm, 5:15pm-3:45 am, or 7pm-5:30am; and Fri. 4 shifts: 6 am- 2:30 pm, 7am-3:30 pm, 3:15 pm-11:45pm, 5pm-1:30am. Saturdays same hours as Friday, when approved. Workers will be paid no less than $46.50 per hour. Overtime hours required and will be paid at time and half the hourly wage rate with double time paid for work on holidays and Sundays. The Employer will provide on-the-job training on rigging and signaling cranes. The employer will use a single workweek (Mon-Sun) as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Thurs. by check or direct deposit. The employer will provide a per diem of $63 per day worked for lodging. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from multiple designated parking lots located in Moon Township, Center Township, Industry and Midland, or to a drop off entrance at the work site. Employer will provide daily transportation from the designated parking lots to the worksite location in Monaca, PA.
