Job Duties:
Workers will be required to establish, grade, setup form boards, pour and finish concrete. Wil need to pour flatwork, slabs, and structural concrete types. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, and must understand figure grades. Must be able to perform basic carpentry tasks. Will use standard tools associated with these duties including but not limited to shovel, rake, concrete pull, hand tamp, hammers, drills, sledgehammers, nail gun, saws, prybars, levels, tape measurers, concrete vibrators, screed boards, jack hammers, air compressors, and generators. May also require the use of concrete hand trowels, hand floats, edgers, jointer, bull float, Kelley trowel, concrete broom, and curb trowels. Motorized equipment may include walk behind trowel machines, ride-on trowel machine, plate tamp, demolition saw, mini excavator, skid steer, and power buggy.

Special Requirements:
Workers must understand specific types of concrete pours and the ability to understand blue prints and figure grades. Must be able to use basic math to figure elevation grades and use a tape measurer. Basic carpentry skills required. SDAC may require that local Covid-19 rules/regulations be applied to any applicant. Local applicants will be given consideration if they meet the proper experience qualificiation requirements.
