Job Duties:

to assist in the operation of all filters in the mill, to keep the mud level in the clarifiers to a minimum during the manufacturing of raw sugar.

Special Requirements:

Willing to work 7 days a week in varying 8 hour shifts during the manufacturing of raw sugar cane season. A total of 56 hours a week. 40hrs a week after harvesting season will be offered until the end of the contract. Shifts are as follows: 11am-7pm; 7pm-3am; 3am-11am Overtime will be paid after 48 hours a week during harvesting and after 40 hours a week after harvesting. Workers will have 30 minutes paid lunch break during the workday. On-site lodging will be offered to all workers that cannot reasonably return home at the end of the work period at no cost to the worker. A weekly meal allowance will be provided to the worker. A single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Wages are paid bi-weekly.
