Job Duties:

Prepare construction site for installation of commercial grade electrical circuitry during the construction of a petrochemical plant. Read blueprints and construction drawings and assist in modifying or planning new installations to minimize waste of materials and provide access for future maintenance. Install various wire conductor sizes in raceways/rebar slabs, or walls, manually and/or by powered means leading to the eventual stripping and termination of wire conductors. Installation of various sizes of embeds and ground wire into rebar slabs or walls manually or by powered means. Operating hand and power tools to install distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels, etc. Material handling of various size embeds, raceways and associated fittings, support brackets, and wire, to cut, bend, and connect by means of bolted, threaded pipe, screw, or compression type connections. Load/unload and transport equipment, materials, and parts required to perform electrical/instrument tasks. Use long & short handled tools including a pry bar, sledgehammer, saw, wrench, hammer & pliers, and power tools (e.g. a saw, drill, grinder). Employer will require 48 hours of work per week. Mon.- Thurs., four available shifts: 6 am-4:30 pm or 7 am- 5:30 pm or 5:15 pm-3:45 am or 7 pm-5:30 am; and Fri. 6 am- 2:30 pm or 7am-3:30 pm or 3:15 pm 11:45 pm. Overtime hours required and will be paid at time and half the hourly wage rate with double time paid for work on holidays and Sundays. The Employer will provide on-the-job training on rigging and signaling cranes. The employer will use a single workweek (Mon-Sun) as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Thurs. by check or direct deposit. The employer will provide a per diem of $63 per day for lodging. The employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck as required by law. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from multiple designated parking lots located at in Moon Township, Center Township, Industry and Midland. Employer will provide daily transportation from the designated parking lots to the worksite location in Monaca, PA.
