Job Duties:

DUTIES: prepare necessary components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes; utilize our serving portion sizes and all necessary meal prep procedures used in the kitchen; ensure the kitchen, all food prep areas, eating, and storage areas meet local health codes and restaurant cleaning standards; work with the team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed; monitor product freshness and rotate out the old product based on a set schedule; set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies; chop, saut, mix, and prepare sauces, and other food preparations; cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff; plate food in a professional and appetizing manner for the customer; clean up the station and take care of leftover food stock inventory; when necessary be available to work holidays, and if mobile catering or special events are scheduled, be in charge of preparing, packing, and delivering food to customers.
