Job Duties:

The nanny should be able to perform household chores (i.e tidy up play areas and children's rooms, do children's dishes and children's laundry) and ensure a clean and tidy home environment all times. He/she should be able to cook and prepare the children's meals and feed them. He/she should change diapers and help the children wash up and take baths as well as schedule nap times. He/she should supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety. He/she should also remove hazards and develop appropriate boundaries and rules to create a safe environment for the children. He/she should be able to instruct and assist children in the development of health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet behavior. In addition, he/she should be able to instruct children in safe behavior, such as seeking adult assistance when crossing the street and avoiding contact or play with unsafe objects. Also, he/she should be able to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when required. Lastly, the nanny should be able to run errands or perform other duties, concerning the children, as required.

Must be able to pass the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) course within 6 months of start of employment. Nanny is required to reside in employer's residence in Lake Orion, MI.
