Job Duties:

The person occupying the position of Housekeeper/Room Inspector spends approximately 80% of time cleaning and dusting hotel rooms according to job procedures, emptying wastebaskets, completing assignments and maintaining rooms and hallways in clean and orderly manner, restocking closets and carts, assisting guests with questions, requests, problems or comments as needed, and other related duties. Approximately 20% of time is spent inspecting rooms for cleanliness and releasing rooms for rent. The individual filling the position must have at least 12 months of experience in this position. Job will require regular bending, stooping and stretching. Maximum weight lifted on a regular basis is 8-25 pounds and 25-50 pounds on an occasional basis. Basic work schedule of 40 hrs/week (5 rotating days). Any overtime would be unplanned and minimal.
