Job Description

Yes
Number of Workers Requested:

Job Duties:
This is considered a *temporary* long-term position, as we are in need of a nanny for the next 2.5 years. We have established a one time occurrence need for a temporary, full-time nanny based on the fact that we have increasing job responsibilities and unreliable childcare due to COVID-19. We require someone for this duration as we are in need of a nanny who can reliably care for our 3 children 5 days a week until they are all in school full-time and/or the pandemic has subsided and local, domestic childcare is more reliable. This will also allow us to keep a consistent, reliable and trustworthy individual in our children's lives. This time line is very important to us as we hope to acquire a nanny that can become a special part of the family for the next 2.5 years. As our nanny, you would be caring for our three children (ages 5, 3, and 11 months) while both parents are working full-time. Our nanny is expected to provide a consistent, caring, attentive and educational atmosphere for our children. They would be needed for at least 40 hours per week for the next 2.5 years. Our nanny would be expected to perform the following tasks in regards to childcare, education, and household duties: Helping children to get dressed and prepared for pre-school, including feeding them breakfast Safely transporting children to and from pre-school in our car Administer one-on-one playtime and educational activities for each child, including: o Imaginative play o Teaching numbers and letters o Reading and writing o Arts and crafts o Sensory play o Outdoor activities o Etc. Prepare and feed children lunch and snacks, including feeding our youngest child baby food and acceptable snacks throughout the day alongside his nursing schedule Getting our 3 year old and 8 month old down for naps every day Complete daily household errands, including grocery shopping, laundry, and light cleaning (especially after the children) If the children are out of school due to a COVID-19 outbreak or other related issue, nanny is expected to work with each child on what they are currently learning, in order to supplement their education for the time they are away from school
