Job Duties:
***RFI Response*** Duties may include: Use knife/slicker to perform oyster shucking: cut, clean, rinse, trim, slice, shuck, weigh, & package oysters. Unload/disperse oysters from delivery trucks and working areas to their required locations for processing within the single worksite location, and lift/move/package oysters as necessary; lift sacked oysters on conveyer belt, move iced boxes into cooler for storage, pack in boxes/place on pallets. Clean-up of work area. Lack of or late delivery of seafood product @ dock may result in delay/downtime & other related Oyster Shuckers activities as per SOC/OES 51-3022 (onetonline.org). Must be 18 due to insurance. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/ refusal to abide = dismissal.
