- CLEAN ROOMS, HALLWAYS, LOBBIES, LOUNGES, RESTROOMS, CORRIDORS, STAIRWAYS, LOCKER ROOMS, AND OTHER WORK AREAS SO THAT HEALTH STANDARDS ARE MET. MAKE BEDS, DUST FURNITURE, WIPE MIRRORS, REPLENISH ROOM SUPPLIES, MOVE FURNITURE, HANG DRAPES, ROLL CARPET, SWEEP OUTSIDE AREAS AND
MAY BE REQUIRED TO WASH, DRY, FOLD SHEETS AND TOWELS. CARRY LINENS, TOWELS, TOILET ITEMS, AND CLEANING SUPPLIES, USING WHEELED CARTS. WASH WINDOWS, WALLS, CEILINGS, AND WOODWORK, WAXING AND POLISHING AS NECESSARY. CLEAN RUGS, CARPETS, UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE, AND DRAPERIES, USING
VACUUM CLEANERS AND SHAMPOOERS. KEEP STORAGE AREAS AND CARTS WELL-STOCKED, CLEAN, AND TIDY.DISINFECT EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES, USING GERMICIDES OR STEAM-OPERATED STERILIZERS. EMPTY WASTEBASKETS, EMPTY AND CLEAN ASHTRAYS, AND TRANSPORT OTHER TRASH AND WASTE TO DISPOSAL
AREAS. OBSERVE PRECAUTIONS REQUIRED TO PROTECT HOTEL AND GUEST PROPERTY AND REPORT DAMAGE, THEFT, AND FOUND ARTICLES TO SUPERVISORS. KEEP STORAGE AREAS AND CARTS WELL-STOCKED, CLEAN, AND TIDY. PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO GUESTS IF ASKED.
EMPLOYEES WILL ALWAYS WORK A MINIMUM OF 35 HRS. THE MAJORITY OF THE SHIFTS ARE 8-5PM THERE MAY BE TIMES WHEN THE RESORT IS FULL OF PATRONS AND DEPENDING ON THE DEMAND THERE MAY BE SOME NEED TO WORK ADDITIONAL HOURS AND OR DIVIDE A SHIFT. HOWEVER, THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME THE EMPLOYEE WILL BE WORKING A 7-8 HR SHIFT.
