Job Duties:

Welcome patrons, seat them at tables or in lounge, and help ensure quality of facilities and service. Reviews and coordinates daily reservations per standard hotel policy. Maintains host stand area, incoming phone calls and menus during duration of work shift. The work schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. is a representation of the daily schedule that this position is in service. The shifts worked inside this daily schedule are split. The AM host/hostess begins the work day at 7:00 a.m. and works until 3:00 p.m. The PM host/hostess begins the work day at 3:00 p.m. and work until 11:00 p.m. The indication of 35 hours per week is the minimum number of hours a single employee for this position will work. In instances that any worker exceeds 40 hours in a Monday-Sunday work week, he or she will be paid at the overtime rate.
