Job Duties:
***RFI Response*** Duties may include: processing onions in packaging facility/shed which will include: packing onions into a variety of different sized bags and then stacking and securing the finished product to be shipped out, clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas at the end of each day & other related Packers and Packagers activities as per SOC/OES 53-7064 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The duties regarding processing onions specifically points to BAGGING the onions and then stacking the bags in an orderly fashion to be shipped out. The workers will be removing onions from a conveyer, placing them into a bag, and then tying the bags once its full to be stacked in the shipping area to be sent off. This is the only processing that occurs for these workers. ***Original F.a.2 Duties may include: processing onions in packaging facility/shed which will include packing onions into a variety of different sized bags and then stacking and securing the finished product to be shipped out, clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas at the end of each day & other related Onion Packers activities as per SOC/OES 53-7064 (onetonline.org). Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities such as: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible 2-person). All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.
