Job Duties:

Sunset Club, LLC., located in Newbury (Plum Island), Massachusetts, seeks four (6) full-time, temporary Line Cooks who will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Will inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. May be required to wash dishes. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. over short distances. Will report directly to the Chef at The Sunset Club. Six (6) months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check. Applicant must complete pre-employment COVID-19 test. Travel is not required. Wage: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime may be available at times. Employee may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionary quarterly bonus between $100 - $600. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 9am to 6pm, or 2pm to 11pm. Shift hours may vary. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Optional housing is offered for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $125.00 per week. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. A $250.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be deducted from first two paychecks, and returned to the employee only upon the completion of the entire employment period and on the suitable condition of the housing and at the employers sole discretion.
