Job Duties:

Prepare raw site for landscape installation, install new landscaping, move dirt, mark beds, rake, mix soil. Spread grass seed, lay sod. Mow, trim, plant and transplant, water lawns and flower beds, spread fertilizer and mulch, dig holes with shovel, blow leaves, installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Minimum 35 hours per week up to 48 hours per week. Normal workdays Monday through Saturday from 7:30am-4:00pm with a half hour unpaid meal break. Workdays and shift time may vary with weather. Basic rate of pay: $14.84/hr. In Kentucky an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek; and if an employee works 7 consecutive days without reaching 40 hours the employee will be paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked on the 7 consecutive day in the workweek. In West Virginia and Ohio an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $22.26 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly.
