Job Duties:

The Production Laborer position is responsible for assisting all other workers and departments as assigned in the production of door and window frames. Perform introductory level duties to gain knowledge of materials, machines, and the assembly of doors and windows. Assist the assemblers with setting up and tending to machines, applying labels and assembling various parts to frames, and setting glass units into frames and sashes. Must be able to adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse rules. Additionally, the laborer will keep all work areas clean and report any equipment that needs maintenance and assist with annual inventory. Ability to read tape measure, parts orders, use basic equipment such as saws, chisels, snips, hand tools, and power tools, follow directions required, and lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Ability to walk, stand, crouch, bend, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
