Job Duties:

Employee will be using sophisticated climbing and rigging techniques, cutting away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain right-of-way for roads, sidewalks, or utilities, or to improve appearance, health, and value of tree. Employee will be engaged in the task of pruning or treating trees or shrubs using handsaws, hand pruners ,clippers. and power pruners. Employee will be engaged in the use of commercial machineries like cranes, bucket trucks, chainsaws, and wood chippers. Employee will be engaged in skillfully eliminating or minimizing defects without hindering the tree's growth or causing irreparable damage. Employee will be engaged in properly removing deadwood to improve the shape of trees or shrubbery. Employee will be engaged in removing undergrowth and tree stumps from commercial and residential property. Employee will clear, clean up, and remove debris on both residential and commercial properties. Employees will be engaged in the professional and safe removal of trees, including damaged or diseased trees.

Special Requirements:

Minimum 12 months experience in tree removal, stump removal, tree pruning, removal of large debris and landscaping; must already have sophisticated tree climbing and pruning techniques; knowledgeable in safely operating heavy machinery and equipment and machinery specifically designed for tree removal; familiarity with health, preservation, removal, and transport of trees; willing to work with others in a hands-on fast pace social setting; able to lift objects weighing 50lbs or more; able to work off the ground in a tree canopy or truck-mounted lifts; knowledge and experience of maintaining land and repairing area from storm damage; required to adhere to company direction and policy and appear timely at job-sites. Optional overtime will be given, if available, on Saturday and Sunday, although Sunday work is rarely offered. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions, in which case, overtime will be paid for hours worked above the minimum in compliance with all applicable laws. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours. Required Tests: Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers.
