- Job Duties:
- Unload catch from fishing vessels. Assist in storing and maintaining inventory. Assist, as needed, with clean-up of plant grounds, production areas and equipment, mending nets. Perform other tasks as directed within the plant yard during the fishing season. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Assist with disposal of waste water. Complete all tasks safely. Report all hazards, accidents, injuries, or environmental excursions to member of the management team immediately. Work schedule: Day Shift:7am-3:30pm; Night Shift: 7pm to 3:30am. Must be available to work day or night shifts based on need with a minimum of 35 hours per week. Must be available to work any day of the week, depending on schedule.

- ONE MONTH PLANT EXPERIENCE. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN COLD, WET, HOT, AND HUMID WEATHER AND BE ABLE TO WORK ON FEET IN BENT, STOOPED OR STANDING POSITIONS FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50LBS CONSISTENTLY ALL DAY LONG. BACKGROUND CHECK AND POST-OFFER, PRE/POST-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING WILL BE CARRIED OUT EQUALLY BETWEEN THE US WORKERS AND THE H2B WORKERS. MUST PASS POST-OFFER, PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL EXAM AT EMPLOYERS EXPENSE. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE FOR ALL US AND H-2B WORKERS. OBSERVING SAFETY PROCEDURES AND THE PROPER USE OF SAFETY DEVICES IS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. Days/shifts may vary Optional employer housing is available to the worker at no cost. Transportation to and from the worksite will be provided to the worker at no cost.
